  Annie's biological father was George Gibbs. However, when she was two years old (Jul. 30, 1873), her mother, Caroline, married Lewis F. M. Hopper. According to the 1900 Cape Girardeau County, Missouri Federal census, Annie had 5 children. Only 3 were living. Per her 1934 vital record, Annie's cause of death was a stroke of paralysis. Bloomfield Vindicator (Missouri) Friday, 11 May 1934 - pg. 1 Advance Woman, 62, Buried Sunday Mrs. Annie Lincecum, 62 years old, died late Thursday afternoon of last week, at the home of a son, Albert Lincecum, at Advance. She was stricken with cerebral hemorrhage several weeks ago while visiting in his home. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Kynion cemetery near Allenville. The Rev. Patterson of Kennett, a Baptist minister, who had been her pastor at one time, officiated. Mrs. Lincecum, since the death of her husband, F. M. Lincecum, three years ago, had made her home among her children. Besides the son mentioned above, she is survived by another son, Charles, of the Hickory Ridge community, in Cape county, two daughters, Mrs. Jesse Strong of Cape Girardeau, and Mrs. Aaron Cragg [sic] of Blodgett, thirteen grandchildren and an aged uncle and aunt, L. L. Sullenger and Mrs. Clara Tidwell, both of whom reside in Cape Girardeau.
