Notes - - Seaborn was in the 57th Georgia Regt. from Fort Valley, Georgia during the Civil War. About 1862, he was appointed first sergeant of the Fort Valley Infantry.
- Seaborn was wounded in May 1863 at the Battle of Champion Hill, Mississippi. He was shot through the thigh. Seaborn's nephew, Robert Braswell, was with him.

Wounded on 16 May 1863 at Baker's Creek, MS (In thigh). POW on 04 July 1863 at Vicksburg, MS. Paroled on 07 July 1863 at Vicksburg, MS. POW on 03 July 1864 at Marietta, GA.
