Miss Hammock Is Married To Eugene Middlebrooks
At high noon yesterday Miss Sara Hammock became the bride of Eugene Anderson Middlebrooks Jr. in a simple ceremony at the Liberty Methodist dhurch [sic]...
The flower girl, little Miss Ann Middlebrooks, niece of the groom, wore a powder blue marquisette dress fashioned with long waistline and tiered skirt...
Emmett Vinson III was the ringbearer.
Mahone Middlebrooks was his brother's nest man. Ushers were W. E. Vinson Jr. of Byron, Dr. Marvin Roberts of Atlanta, William Barnes and Louis Shepherd of Macon.
Mrs. J. F. Hammock, mother of the bride, was her matron of honor and only attendant...
The bride entered with her father, J. F. Hammock, by whom she was given in marriage...
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents entertained members of the wedding party, out-of-town guests, and close friends at a barbecue on the lawn of their home.
