      Wedding at Walden, GA
The marriage of Miss Minnie Lewis Avant and James Francis Hammock was an interesting event of Wednesday afternoon at 6:00 at the Liberty Chapel, Walden, GA.

...The two ushers, Will Peavy, of Byron, and George Avant, brother of the bride, entered first and advanced separately down the two aisles, followed by the matron of honor, Mrs. Jordan Lee Jessup, of Macon, and Mr. Romao Aultman, the only groomsman.

The bride entered on the arm of the maid of honor, Miss Jessie Avant, and they were met at the altar by the groom and his best man, Mr. J. B. Jackson, of Grays, who came from the side entrance.

...On their return they will reside at the old home place of Mr. Hammock, which is beautifully situated on the Perry road.

...On Tuesday evening after the rehearsal, the wedding party were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. James Russell Avant, parents of the bride.
