- Hillery's funeral was conducted by the Stanley Funeral Home, 1320 North Jefferson Street, Dublin, Georgia 31021. Death certificate provides SSN #257-44-0775. Cause of death listed as acute pulmonary edema; severe coronary artery disease.

DUBLIN, Ga. - Mr. Hillery Logue, 71, died Sunday, June 18, 2000, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stanley Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Powell officiating. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Logue, a native of Laurens County, had retired from the U.S. Army, from which he received the Korean Service Medal, Purple Heart, Occupational Medal and Combat Infantry Badge. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gearlene D. Logue; a son, Doyle Logue, Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Marie Shores, Orlando; four stepsons, Vernon Guinn, Quinton Guinn and Albert Guinn, all of Alamo, and Richard Guinn, Warner Robins; a stepdaughter, Annette Darsey, Dublin; a brother, Jack Logue, Warner Robins; two sisters, Bessie Lindsey, Tennille, and Kelli Bell Duggan, Sandersville; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Barry Franklin, H.E. Blount, David Darsey, Edward Alligood, Harold Peavy and Jimmy Peavy.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home."
