Notes - - According to his 1918 World War I draft registration card, Lee had blue eyes and brown hair. He was noted as working as a ginner at the Katy Electric Gin. Following from a September 1919 Temple Daily Telegram (Texas) advertisement: "The Katy Electric Gin is now prepared to gin cotton and solicits a portion of the patronage of the Farmers of Bell County. Our machinery is up-to-date and out-turn will be of the best."
- Per his 1930 certificate, Lee's cause of death was Intestinal Ulcerations and Meningitis.
